Aspect radiologique d’une thrombophlébite de la veine ovarienne droite révélée par une douleur du flanc droit, à propos d’un cas.

Abstract

Ovarian vein thrombosis (OVT) is a rare condition usually occurring in the postpartum period. The incidence outside the postpartum period is not known. We reported a case of TVO in a 23-year-old patient at Kedougo Amath Dansokho Regional Hospital in Senegal. She had no particular gestational history, she was non-febrile with negative biological examinations apart a C-reactive protein (CRP) that was twice as high as normal (͔<6mg/l). The abdominal CT scan made led to the diagnosis of thrombophlebitis of the right ovarian vein with a blade of pelvic fluid effusion lateralized to the right on probable inflammatory disease of the pelvis. Anticoagulant and antibiotic treatment led to an improvement in the clinical sign.

RÉSUMÉ 

La thrombose de la veine ovarienne (TVO) est une pathologie rare survenant généralement dans le post partum. Son incidence en dehors du post partum n’est pas connue. Nous rapportons un cas de TVO chez une patiente de 23 ans au centre hospitalier régional Amath Dansokho de Kédougou au Sénégal. Elle n’avait aucun antécédent gestationnel, n’était pas fébrile et ses examens biologiques étaient sans particularité en dehors d’une C-reactive protein (CRP) qui était deux fois plus que la normale (͔<6mg/l). La tomodensitométrie abdomino-pelvienne faite a conduit au diagnostic d’une thrombophlébite de la veine ovarienne droite avec une lame d’épanchement liquidien pelvien latéralisée à droite sur probable maladie inflammatoire du pelvis. Un traitement anticoagulant et antibiotique a permis une amélioration du tableau clinique.
